Ball mills can be used to further break down or refine a single material or you can place multiple materials into a ball mill jar to mix as you pulverize this is a very common industrial solution for mixing glazes that require the smallest of mesh sizes. Ball mills basically function like a mortar and pestle but on a much larger scale.

Grinding jars are premium high alumina material or ceramic based roalox. High strength roalox has four times the wear life of ordinary porcelain and reduces levels of silica contamination. Milling jars are small scale version of the ball mills and are typically used in the laboratory or small scale production. Grinding jars are available in two types of materials high alumina or ceramic based roblox.

The milling jars are available in sizes from 0 1 usg to 5 usg. 8 5 h x 5 75 diameter rpm on shimpo ball mill. Same design features as roalox mill jars. Jar mill 3 tier is a floor model mill that accommodates up to six jars.

The jar rolling mills come in lengths from 24 to 60 and up to three tiers tall. Ultra high fired ceramic body composed primarily of high grade aluminum oxide. They are made of porcelain glazed on the outside and remain unglazed on the interior. The jar rolling mill can be designed to accommodate anywhere from 1 to more than a dozen jars.
