As for the mastering job i ve never a bed them or seen any documentation in re the transfer but blah blah blah blah. For example this one. Well first of all byg records weren t particularly well pressed in the first place. I m not a big free jazz listener and many of the titles were in that vein.

In stores here i saw three different series of byg reissues. I have owned and mostly sold off quite a few actuel titles. Also all of these mysterious reissues are surprisingly in gatefold while the notable get back ones not. Actuel 40 format.

In the last days i discovered on discogs that these byg actuel records are reissued in a mysterious reissue by the original byg with unknown release year. There are a couple of titles i have on reissue jacques coursil way ahread being one og them simply because it sounds better. But the original records were generally pretty poorly pressed and if any care went into the reissues i m sure they d be fine. Byg records 529 303 series.
